The Oikos Project

Building Spaces. Expanding Impact. Strengthening Community.

At Western Kentucky Youth Camp, we are a community where children are nurtured and valued.

Where they learn the power of Jesus Christ can change their lives and the world.

Our vision for WKYC campers is limitless, but our facilities must catch up to our dreams.

We're stronger with you.

Join us.

The immediate opportunities chosen to strengthen our impact will address a number of operational and capital priorities, including our most pressing needs: The Oikos Project, and its related storm shelter, which is an apartment-style housing opportunity designed with 8 rooms that can sleep 4-6 people, as well as bathroom amenities. A storm shelter will be placed in the basement below.

This building will expand our capacity and ability to serve families with young children, campers with special needs, and additional staff. It will also offer our first true storm shelter to protect guests from inclement weather.

Looking ahead, we’re eager to complete our new maintenance building, finalize our new amphitheater plans, and establish WKYC’s first ever endowment to better secure our future.

Now is the time to give our children the space they deserve.

Support their journey to stronger faith today!
