Being a Person of IMPACT
September 19-21
Do you want to make a difference in this world?
This world is in desperate need for God’s people to make a difference.
Paul tells Timothy in 1 Tim 4:12  “Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.”
If you will be Godly in your speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity you will make a huge “IMPACT” on this world, not only on this world, but in eternity.
Our five lessons will cover each of these subjects.
Pray for the retreat, and for the “IMPACT” that you can have on the world
when you leave on Sunday.

Our Speaker will be Robbie Mackenzie.  He is married to the former Heather Gillmore (who grew up coming to WKYC). Robbie has the privilege of being a youth minister for the Main Street church of Christ in Springfield, TN where he has worked for 4 years.  Robbie has a B.A. in Bible and a Masters in Bible from Freed-Hardeman, and is currently working on his M. Div. at Lipscomb University.

 What’s gonna happen?
Here is the plan. We will begin registration at 7:00 PM Friday, September 19.
Be sure to eat before you come.
We will have an evening of fellowship and a devotional at 11:00.
We will have breakfast at 9 AM Saturday.
The afternoon will be spent in various activities.
There will be three lessons on Saturday and a split session for the men and women Saturday evening
led by Bill and Shay Wade and a devo to close out the day with Robbie.
Sunday morning will begin with a 9 AM breakfast
followed by a 10:00 worship service.

There will be no lunch on Sunday.

This is open to everyone Teen-Week 2008!  You are invited to bring a friend; just make sure they send in an application.

We understand that there are many ballgames and other activities going on at retreat time.  If you can’t come until late Friday night or early Saturday morning, let us know so we can wait up for you.

If you have to leave early, we will have to hear (i.e. phone call or in person)it from your folks.

Not that we don't trust you, it's just safety thing!

There will not be any visitors allowed until worship services on Sunday morning.

Parents are invited to come and worship with us!

This retreat will be a time of spiritual development that will help each of us to grow closer to God and one another through our singing, praying, Bible study, and fellowship.  It is the prayer of the Teen Retreat Staff that you come and that we all grow spiritually together.
