WKYC has a wide variety of activities to keep you busy this summer. We strive in keeping the mind body and soul active all week. Take a look at just a few of the activities we have to offer.
Front FieldThe front field is our largest open area. Designed as a full sized soccer field but serves as the location for many other activities at camp. |
Back FieldThe back field was the original large open area of the camp. It is still used today for baseball and several other activities at camp. |
Night ActivitiesLighted ball courts allows us to play well after dark.
Basketball / Tennis CourtFull sized basket ball court and tennis court. Primarily used for basket ball but can serve as a location to have large group activities at night as well.
Volleyball CourtThis full sized volleyball court is a great place for campers and staff to play. It is filled with sand and lots of fun!
Shuffle BoardFor a more relaxing activity on a hot summer day try your skill at some shuffle.
BadmittonThis court is set just in front of the baseball field and next to the large swing set.
PoolFull sized swimming pool is great when the heat rises. One of the places most campers look forward to after playing all day.
Dinning HallNeed a place to cool down the dinning hall has many areas to use. The booths serve as a great location to play a board game if the heat is to much.
Game RoomAt one end of the dinning hall is a large game room area for campers. With pool, fuzz ball, and table tennis. This is a popular location when the heat of the summer is just to much.
Mad MerdelsCamp mystery and a great destination to stop during the long hike around the wilderness trail at camp.
Commons AreaOne of a few commons areas used by campers during down time. This is a shaded spot between the main pavilion and the ball courts.
SwingsGreat location to watch the baseball game at the back field. These swings sit close enough to the action but just inside the shade of the trees.
Arts and CraftsThe previous dinning hall offers a large area to work on those camp crafts.
